Living off the Land in Space
In June 2016, Mines professor Angel Abbud-Madrid was invited to present at TEDxMileHigh at their Make + Believe Event. He discussed how throughout human history, resources have been the driving force for exploration and also the means to do so. But as we move beyond the borders of our atmosphere, Abbud-Madrid questions if we are limited to the materials we carry from earth.
