The loss of my dear friend Michele has stopped me in my tracks. I am so thankful to have been friends for so many years and kept up with one another so frequently. She taught so many people so much and was a Mentor to countless. Her laugh was infectious and she will be deeply missed. Makes this profile of our “Wild Women” group all the more precious. Thank you.

i love your adventures through thick and thin.
did you use “faux pas” uttered in a loud, slow, entertaining and commanding tone while you were in paris?
do you remember the time you played “santa claus is coming to town” on a piano in some plaza there in 1996? probably not. i remember it very well ’cause everybody loved it and i was jealous that you were getting all the attention. all these people on the street gathering around and clapping and saying “tres bien, tres bien!”
mais oui!
i love the pictures and captions, too.

Having learned that Michele Vivona ’86 passed away on April 20, 2012, after a brief illness, we wanted to post a short follow-up to this recently-published article, and to express how shocked and saddened we at the alumni association are to hear the news. Our sincere sympathy goes out to Michele’s family and all those grieving her sudden loss.

I am Ed’s daughter and have only just discovered the kind words in regards to my dad. I am certain that my mother isn’t aware of the comments you left, so I will let her know.

I do remember you actually, but I do not know the circumstances in which you met my dad. I also recall your paintings.
