I-Day: Celebrating Culture

Mines’ international students hosted International Day in November 2017, a celebration of culture and diversity, where the local community enjoyed food, performances and learned about the various cultures represented at Mines. More than 1,300 people supported Mines’ students, making the event one of the largest I-Days in the history of the event. Several cultural acts performed at the celebration, including the Denver-based Jasmine Flower Chinese Dance Academy.
